John Fritz

As an assurance partner, my focus is on the insurance industry, working with various property and casualty insurers, insurance agencies, and risk pools. I work closely with our team to provide audit, tax, and consulting services and bring a high level of service and experience to our clients. Additionally, I serve as the firm’s insurance industry technical leader, providing technical support, engagement quality review, and numerous forms of technical accounting assistance to bolster our national insurance practice. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with insurance companies of all sizes, from start-ups to publicly traded firms, and I possess expertise in both statutory and GAAP accounting for the insurance industry.

Throughout my more than two-decade career, I consider my greatest achievements to be the success of our team and our clients. I take immense pride in coaching and mentoring, helping individuals grow both personally and professionally. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in collaborating with clients to enhance their skills and knowledge by sharing my experience.

I’m a member of the Illinois CPA Society, the AICPA, the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA), and the Association of Governmental Risk Pools (AGRIP). I received my B.A. in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
