Growing up, I spent my summers working on my family’s farm, which taught me the value of hard work at a young age. I believe this has been a key to my success.

As a partner in our senior care and living healthcare consulting group, I help my clients in the areas of healthcare reimbursement, benchmarking and operational improvement, buy/sell due diligence, back-office accounting, and fractional CFO services, for a wide range of healthcare and senior living providers. I serve clients across the healthcare industry, including skilled nursing facilities, continuing care retirement communities, senior living organizations, hospitals and health systems, private equity groups, real estate investment trusts (REITS), and home care and hospice providers.

With a passion for helping clients navigate the reimbursement process, I find it very rewarding to help those who care for others, knowing my work will help both the organization and those they serve. Colleagues know me for having a steel-trap memory, recalling details of client engagements for many months or even years after the fact. Colleagues also know I’ll go the extra mile to make sure our clients’ needs are always met.

I have nearly 20 years of healthcare consulting experience and regularly provide the Michigan County Medical Care Facility Council with reports on key topics affecting the healthcare and senior living industries. Additionally, I frequently speak to clients, their boards, and at industry association conferences, such as the Healthcare Association of Michigan and LeadingAge Michigan, on current financial and healthcare reimbursement trends.

I received my A.A. in business administration from Delta College, my B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University, and my M.B.A. from Walsh College.

When I’m not helping clients, I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family. My hobbies include reading, music, hunting, fishing, hiking, and running.
