Experience
As the leader of the firm’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) practice, I help individuals, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses recover from incidents and strengthen their cyber environments with pragmatic controls. I focus on building trust and resilience through governance, risk management, compliance, identity and access controls, and security awareness — ensuring organizations are secure from every angle.
Clients value my ability to communicate complex technical matters in simple, nontechnical terms. It’s incredibly rewarding to provide solutions that make a real difference, as I’m passionate about helping people and organizations succeed. Around the office, I’m known for making myself available as a resource on technical matters and am recognized by my peers for my commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to try new things.
I hold several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Lead CMMC Certified Assessor (Lead CCA), CMMC Certified Professional (CCP), and Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), among others. I’m also a member of the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC²) and the CyberAB (CMMC). I earned my A.S. in information systems and computer networking and my B.S. in information systems and cybersecurity from the ITT Technical Institute in Indiana. During my time there, I founded the Student Veterans of America program to help assist and support military veterans in their transition from the military to college.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing in the yard with our dog Chevy, zipping around town on our electric scooters, and cheering for Michigan State University at football games.
