Krystle Beseler

As a senior manager on the cybersecurity team, I specialize in cyber assurance, information security, IT audit, and IT control development services. My expertise includes SOC reports, readiness assessments, GLBA compliance, and NIST IT risk assessments. With more than a decade of experience, I’ve been instrumental in helping small companies begin their compliance journeys and assisting medium to large organizations in implementing effective risk assessment and monitoring programs to strengthen their security posture and effectively protect their data and their customers’ data. The majority of my clients are B2B organizations in the service, technology, insurance, financial institution, and healthcare industries.

I was attracted to this career for the dynamic work environment, and the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge systems and technologies to make a meaningful impact on businesses by analyzing and improving their organizational security. Around the office, I’m known for being welcoming and approachable, and always ready to answer questions.

I’m frequently invited to speak to clients, their boards, and industry audiences on best practices in cybersecurity and AI integration. I’ve presented at events including the IASA National Xchange Conference and the IASA Michigan Chapter Conference.

I hold licenses and certifications as a certified public accountant (CPA), certified information systems auditor (CISA), certified information systems security professional (CISSP), and certified information technology professional (CITP), and am a member of the ISACA and MICPA. I earned a B.B.A. with a concentration in accounting information systems and financial accounting and reporting from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Outside of work, I stay active by spending time at the gym and training for rugby matches.
