Experience

I help construction companies stay on top of industry regulations, trends, and financial best practices. Many of my clients are general contractors or involved with heavy/highway, specialty trade, and multi-entity commercial real estate.

My clients appreciate that I’m highly organized and adaptable. I’m known for offering practical advice, helping clients meet technical accounting requirements, and bringing an executive presence to client and board discussions where I participate meaningfully with my audience.

I was attracted to this career to build relationships and be around energetic, driven people who work hard and have fun while doing it. One of my greatest gifts is my ability to foster relationships by building trust, bringing a positive attitude, smiling, and laughter. I love learning about other cultures and visiting unfamiliar places. This has served me well in public accounting. I love and learning about new clients and what they do. I still get excited when I drive by a client’s job site or whenever I see a construction client’s truck on the highway.

I have nearly 20 years’ experience. The opportunity to be a principal and to represent female leadership is one of my greatest accomplishments. I strive to be a light for women in our firm, the construction industry, and our community.

I’m a member of the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). I’m on the board and serve as treasurer of Construction Education Foundation (CEF), and I’m a board member of the Associated General Contractors of Colorado (ACG of Colorado). I’m on the audit committee for the Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado.

I graduated from the University of Denver with a B.S. in accounting in 2005 and from the Denver Catholic Biblical School in 2019.

Outside of work, I love reading, traveling, and wine tasting. I recently did a wine trip with my family to southern France.
