I lead the downtown Chicago healthcare audit practice, working with multihospital systems and academic medical centers across the country. My clients appreciate that I’m able to provide practical solutions that help them meet their goals. I pride myself on always trying to understand the “why” behind my clients’ questions and always being available to them.
I was initially attracted to this career because I love building things — especially our practice and team at the firm. Around the office, I’m known for my genuine interest in the personal and professional success of my team as well as having a passionate support for Philadelphia sports teams, where I was born and raised.
With more than a dozen years’ experience, I often speak to client boards and associations such as HFMA on healthcare finance trends and related issues. I earned my B.A. in accounting from Hope College and am a fellow of Healthcare Financial Management Association, with whom I served as a board member on local chapters for a number of years.
Outside of work, my favorite thing in the world is to go on walks with my wife and young daughter around our neighborhood in Chicago — whether it’s to find a new coffee shop or restaurant, or our favorite — enjoying holiday decorations. I’m a lifelong baseball and football fan and have recently enjoyed a new passion of running marathons.
