After 27 years with the firm, I’m very proud of how we’ve increased our outreach to the next generation. One of my greatest accomplishments is helping to create our TRACK program, which is aimed at diverse college students who want to experience life at a public accounting firm.
I’ve received the National Achievement in Public Accounting award from the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) for my professional and community commitment and exemplary leadership. I’ve also been recognized as one of Leadership Oakland’s “Leader of Leaders” for my efforts mentoring and developing minority high school and college students. Other accomplishments include the Michigan Chronicle’s “Man of Excellence” award and Lawrence Tech University’s “Leaders Innovators” award. In 2019, I received the “Diversity and Inclusion” Award from the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
I belong to the AICPA, the NABA, and the MICPA where I participate on the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force. I have a B.B.A. in accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
I enjoy spending time outside of work with my wife and two kids. Most people don’t know I’m also a collector of ’50s and ’60s music.
