In MICPA’s Connections magazine, Partner Paul Bryant details his 31-year career at Plante Moran.

In the Michigan Association of CPA’s Connections magazine, Partner Paul Bryant discusses his career at Plante Moran, which started with an internship 31 years ago and has led to his current role as the firm’s first partner of advocacy, equity, and engagement.

“I realized I could be a resource for students who look like me, who don’t know where to go to get their questions about careers answered,” said Paul. “I didn’t have anyone in my family who was in accounting. So, when I had questions about what I could do as a career, no one could help me — not because they didn’t want to, but because they didn’t have these experiences. Now, I want to be that resource for students. Someone they can reach out to and help them understand their options.”

Paul goes on to explain his “anything but stagnant” career at Plante Moran and what’s next for him, including his newly appointed role as Michigan Accountancy Foundation trustee.
