Sam is a senior vice president at Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), where he performs real estate consulting and project management services across a diverse portfolio of client engagements. With over 20 years of experience in development advisory, strategic planning, and execution oversight, Sam brings a holistic perspective to complex real estate initiatives.
Sam specializes in real estate development advisory and project management across asset types such as mixed-use, residential, hospitality, institutional, medical, and industrial. His client base includes private developers, corporate owners, and nonprofit institutions. His experience spans the full development lifecycle, from feasibility and entitlements to construction and operations, helping clients navigate challenges with confidence and clarity.
Before joining PMR, Sam served as senior director of development at Bedrock Detroit, where he led transformative urban projects from acquisition through delivery. He also spent nearly a decade at PRA in New York, supporting clients as an owner’s representative across development, design, and construction phases. His background has shaped high-profile projects including the Monroe Blocks in Detroit, TSX Broadway in Times Square, the Press 321 residential conversion, and the 101 Pennsylvania Avenue Health Hub in East New York.
Sam earned a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and continues to explore opportunities to add value across PMR’s service lines. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
