I have more than ten years of experience in financial statement and compliance auditing with a primary focus on serving our clients in housing and community development, real estate, and the public sector industries. I have extensive experience in various tax credit structures, including LIHTC, new markets, and historic tax credits. I serve both not-for-profit and for-profit owners, managers, and developers of multi-family and assisted living properties.
I serve as a single audit technical specialist for the firm, which includes the design and implementation of audit procedures to ensure the applicable compliance requirements for each federal grant are adequately tested in accordance with the Uniform Guidance. In expertise sharing, I lead various firmwide trainings and serve as an engagement quality reviewer in both the real estate and public sector industries.
I am honored to represent our firm as a frequent attendee and panel participant at industry conferences, such as Michigan School Business Officials, Affordable Housing Finance Live, Building Michigan Communities Conference, and the National Council of State Housing Agencies conference.
I earned a B.S. in business administration from Northwood University.
