Experience
As a principal in the firm’s tax practice, I specialize in tax compliance, strategy, and planning at the federal and state levels. The majority of my clients are privately owned and private equity-owned businesses in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Clients appreciate that I help them navigate complex tax issues and serve as a liaison for their additional business needs.
Over the course of my decade-plus long career, my greatest accomplishments have included developing great relationships across the firm and with clients. I’ve enjoyed watching staff members and colleagues achieve and exceed their objectives. I was drawn to this career by the opportunity to use problem-solving, communication, and teamwork to help clients achieve their goals. Around the office, I’m known to bring a level-headed approach to complex issues and challenges — and also for providing a well-curated song playlist for any occasion that spans many genres of music.
I earned my B.S. in accounting and M.S. of accountancy from Edgewood University in Madison, Wisconsin. I’m also an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids and exploring all that Chicago has to offer — from Cubs games, biking and running on the lakefront, to the vibrant neighborhoods and great restaurants. When I’m not exploring Chicago, you can find me unwinding on the golf course or on the beach in Florida.
