I’m known as a diehard Chicago Blackhawks fan, and my family and I are season ticket holders. On school nights, we often have tickets to share with friends. My favorite Blackhawks game experience was seeing Patrick Kane score his 1,000th career point in early 2020.

As a tax partner, my practice focuses on tax planning for businesses and the implementation of tax strategies and planning for businesses in all life-cycle stages, including start-up, expansion, and liquidation. I manage complex tax compliance and consulting engagements by collaborating with the overall engagement team, including assurance, National Tax Office, outsourced accounting, management consulting, and tax solutions group members. I specialize in the services industry serving growth-oriented and middle-market businesses in professional service, technology, and logistics.

I have more than two decades of experience providing various tax compliance and comprehensive tax planning services for privately held companies, executives, and family clients in several industries. My clients appreciate that I’m a good listener, responsive to their needs, and strive to make the complex process of tax planning and compliance easier. Long-standing clients know I have their best interests in mind, and they trust me as an advisor and tax preparer. I was attracted to this career because I enjoy solving problems, building long-term client relationships, and mentoring and developing the technical and leadership skills of colleagues.

I’m a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society. I received my B.A. in economics from Bucknell University and M.S. in taxation from Northeastern University.

Outside the office, I’ve served on the environmental and sustainability commissions for the Oak Park and River Forest communities. My work included creating a Bike Task Force that was responsible for establishing a community bike plan to make streets more cyclist- and family-friendly. I also organized a village tree walk with an arborist to discuss tree conservation and tree care. Additionally, I’ve served as the finance committee chair and cabinet member for the First United Methodist Church of Oak Park and am a Legacy Partners Advisor for the Lurie Children’s Hospital.
