Known for my practical approach to resolving issues that impact profitability and enterprise value, I have expertise in shrinking margins, escalating structural costs, global competition, mergers and acquisitions, and business transition concerns. Many of my clients are internationally active, headquartered both within and outside the United States, with operations across the globe.
One aspect of my job I particularly enjoy is teaching staff. I’ve received the Macomb office’s Wentrack Staff Mentorship Award (which honors those who personify the characteristics of outstanding staff development) and the firm’s Morrison Award (recognizing the selfless spirit that characterizes the firm’s culture). It’s both humbling and gratifying to be acknowledged for my commitment to supporting others. As a professional and a parent to three children, I want others to know this firm supports a work/life balance. It’s one of the reasons I’m the Women in Leadership office champion for Macomb.
Recently, I presented the technical update on accounting pronouncements at the Michigan Community College Business Officers Association conference. I’ve also spoken about technical topics and the impact of accounting pronouncements on organizations for our firm-sponsored webinars. I graduated from Oakland University with a B.S. in accounting. I’m a member of the AICPA, the MICPA, and Women in Manufacturing.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and three children, especially at our family cabin. I also love to play volleyball and basketball, and I’m an avid dog lover.
