I try to have a solution for whatever challenge my clients present. If I don’t have an answer, they know they can count on me to bring the right resources to their projects.
The business world has always fascinated me. That’s why I was drawn to this career — public accounting is a gateway to engaging with a variety of business leaders in many different industries. With more than 20 years at Plante Moran, I've had many great mentors, and I strive to be the best leader I can be to empower our people and teams to do their best work. When my colleagues commend me on my ability to bring people together, I think I’m on the right path.
I speak at various industry conferences regarding current accounting and internal control matters. I belong to the AICPA, the Illinois CPA Society, and the Financial Managers Society. I received my B.A. in accountancy from Wayne State University.
Outside of the office, I enjoy golfing and skiing — neither of which I do very frequently. I’m mostly involved with whatever my kids are doing. Lately that’s been soccer, hockey, and dance. We enjoy traveling as a family, primarily to beach destinations, but my son has been lobbying for more ski trips.
