I lead the construction practice for Plante Moran’s East Lansing office and various energy verticals for the Great Lakes region. I bring a practical approach to problem-solving that my middle-market clients appreciate, as I help them strategize industry issues and best practices. My clients include owner operated entities, private equity-owned businesses (PEG), and internationally owned businesses.
I have been with the firm more than 30 years and have continuously helped clients achieve their success through personal attention, constant interaction and planning. I focus on their success helping them create strategies around growth, acquisitions, and transition while they navigate the constant changes within their environment and industries.
I’m a member of the Construction Financial Management Association, the Associated General Contractors of Michigan, and the Michigan Oil and Gas Association. I have a B.B.A. in accounting from Western Michigan University. I also belong to the AICPA and MICPA.
Besides accounting, I also love the outdoors. I enjoy fishing, hunting, boating and hiking with the family. We have a cottage on Lake Huron, so I’m on the water boating of fishing any chance I get.
