Denise is a Plante Moran tax partner specializing in providing practical, proactive solutions to the firm's internationally-active clients and their employees.  Recognized as a technical resource, she is known for her ability to balance highly complex tax solutions with practical, focused business strategies. Together with the firm’s International Team, a consolidated practice staffed by more than 100 international specialists with expertise in accounting, tax, engineering, and global business, Denise consults with partners and clients throughout the firm's footprint. Since joining Plante Moran as an intern, Denise has accumulated more than 25 years of experience providing business and tax advice and has more than 15 years of specialization in developing and implementing international tax strategies.   

Through her work with companies across industry groups, Denise has developed a particular specialty in providing Canadian tax and business solutions.  Most recently, Denise has assisted a client with the reorganization of a cross-border legal and tax structure involving hybrid entities and international investors.  

Denise has also recently assumed leadership of the firm's International Assignment Solutions team, which supports small and mid-sized companies in developing and managing their global workforce. She has a B.S. in accounting from the University of Detroit.
