As a principal in our assurance practice, I focus on financial statement audits and accounting for business combinations and have additional experience with complex multi-entity consolidations and coordination with foreign component auditors. My clients are primarily private equity-owned and large family-owned businesses in the manufacturing and distribution and transportation and logistics industries.
Clients appreciate that I consistently prioritize their needs and develop a thorough understanding of their business and operations. I believe in building strong relationships based on proactive and timely communication, ensuring clients feel valued and understood.
I chose accounting because every day is different, with new technical accounting challenges to tackle and continuous opportunities to learn and grow. Around the office, I’m known for being approachable and always ready to listen to ideas and welcome feedback.
I belong to the AICPA, Illinois CPA Society, Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), and Women in Manufacturing® (WiM). I earned a B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University and a B.S. in psychology from Iowa State University.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with my husband and our son.
