I specialize in advising globally active manufacturing companies on current industry trends, financial best practices, and tax-minimization techniques. Many of my clients range from owner-managed businesses to large multinational and private equity-owned companies. In addition, I serve K-12 public school districts throughout Michigan. I’ve developed expertise in all areas of school district accounting, auditing, and management consulting, including bond and federal grant compliance.
Twenty-five years of experience affords me a lot of insight. One of my biggest accomplishments was helping my clients navigate the great recession to emerge stronger and better positioned for long-term success. The ability to serve as a trusted advisor has always motived me; it’s satisfying when I can play a critical role in helping companies reach their goals.
My parents were small business owners, and I began working at their small chain of retail stores at a young age. The lessons I learned about customer service, including attentiveness, responsiveness, honesty, and courtesy were invaluable.
I belong to the AICPA and the MICPA. I earned my B.B.A. at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. We have fun boating, golfing, and traveling.
