As a tax principal, I specialize in tax planning and advisory services for clients in the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. My career began with a focus on owner-managed businesses, and I’ve since pivoted to working with private equity-managed businesses. Clients appreciate my clear, practical approach to tax compliance and consulting. I’m adept at simplifying complex issues while highlighting potential risks and exposures in an easily understandable manner. I’m driven by the constant intellectual challenges and continuous learning opportunities that tax consulting offers. Around the office, I’m known for being available to offer advice and a laugh at a local tavern.
Over my decade-long tenure at the firm, I’m proud to have developed training programs for new staff, including the business tax training that every new hire attends when they begin their career at Plante Moran.
I’m a dedicated member of both the OSCPA and the AICPA, and I hold a B.A. in accounting and an M.B.A. from Baldwin Wallace University.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, playing basketball, golfing, and traveling across the United States to visit family.
