 
 Before my career at the firm, I spent my younger years chasing a career in hockey. After my playing days, I coached a youth team in Plymouth, Michigan.

I specialize in energy tax credits, incentives, and emerging tax matters for commercial taxpayers, nonprofit organizations, and the public sector. Clients rely on me for strategic guidance and project planning to maximize the benefits of available tax programs. As part of our National Tax Office, I also advise on tax issues, including new legislation, tax policy developments, and IRS guidance. My work spans many industries, helping clients stay ahead of tax changes and identify planning opportunities.
I frequently speak at business and tax events, sharing insights on energy tax credits and the evolving tax landscape. My writing has appeared in publications like the Michigan Bar Journal.
I’m a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association. Currently I serve as the Secretary for the State Bar of Michigan’s Taxation Section. I received my B.B.A. in business administration and management from Eastern Michigan University and my J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my wife and daughters. Some of my favorite moments are spent out on the lake during the Michigan summertime with family and friends.
