As a senior consultant with Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), JP provides program and project management services to public sector clients. This includes capital program planning, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing projects from conception through completion. JP’s role is to ensure that clients’ infrastructure projects are well-managed, align with client objectives, and deliver successful outcomes.
Clients value JP for his unique approach to problem-solving, which combines structured methods with creative thinking. As an owner’s representative, he thrives on collaborating with his team to develop innovative solutions, enhance efficiency, and effectively meet client objectives.
JP joined PMR from the United States Marine Corps, where he served as an engineer officer. In his role, he was responsible for managing military construction projects, multilateral engagements with engineers from other nations, and training programs for skilled laborers and project managers. He oversaw a team of more than 100 personnel responsible for providing horizontal construction and material support and oversaw the construction of a new elementary school in the Philippines. Additionally, JP was a program manager for The Marine Corps Engineer School (MCES), where he trained and developed more than 200 junior project managers.
JP has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Michigan and obtained his MBA from the University of North Carolina.
