Mountain biking is one of my favorite hobbies, and I’ve participated in multiple 24-hour team races. Surprisingly, the 2 a.m. shift is usually the fastest; the sound of coyotes in the distance really pushes you to the finish.

I provide tax compliance and tax planning services to closely held and private equity-owned clients. My clients are typically internationally active businesses that have operations across many states and localities in the United States.

My clients are in the manufacturing and distribution and service industries and range in size from smaller middle-market organizations to companies in the $1 billion range. I have significant experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, accounting method conversions, and tax provisions.

Clients appreciate that I’m a dedicated advisor who’s always looking for ways to reduce their tax burden while optimizing cash flow and aligning tax planning with their business strategy. My co-workers know that I’m always looking for ways to increase efficiencies and add value to our clients.

The ever-changing environment in public accounting is what drew me to this profession. I’m always excited about a challenge and look for ways to use my knowledge to assist clients. I have more than 10 years’ experience in public accounting, and my greatest accomplishment is the work-life balance I’ve established. I serve my clients well and still have plenty of quality family time to spend with my husband and daughters.

I’m a member of the MICPA, and I received a B.B.A. and M.A. in accounting from the University of Michigan.

Outside of work, I spend time with my husband and two daughters. We’re very active and enjoy outdoor activities, including attending Michigan sporting events and traveling to away games during the football season.
