In my free time, I enjoy cooking and entertaining, yoga, and going on walks with my family and our dog, Pollyanna, through our neighborhood.

Experience
I’m passionate about stewarding the human and financial capital of the clients and families we serve. To that end, I work with our advisors to provide family education and family philanthropy resources, guidance, and expertise. These elements — often overshadowed by tax, investment advice, and estate planning — are critical for sustaining family and business enterprises as well as generational wealth.

Having started my career at a boutique private bank and trust company, I was exposed to almost every facet of a high-net-worth individual’s balance sheet. I quickly gravitated toward the softer side of the business as I recognized a gap between the dispensed financial advice and the needs of clients beyond their balance sheets. Because I enjoyed conversations around family history, personal values, and community involvement, I wanted to focus on the human capital needs of clients and their families.

I’m known for my sense of humor and eternal optimism. My clients appreciate my candor, sincerity, and my desire to help them with the less tangible elements of wealth transfer — values, family stories, and legacy, to name a few. I don’t take lightly the privilege of knowing the stories and accompanying motivations of those we serve. This level of understanding allows me and my colleagues to provide better and more relevant advice in every facet of a client’s finances.

I’m most proud of the work I’ve done with first and second-generation wealth creators and inheritors as it relates to educating them on their responsibilities. I also love exploring the opportunities this wealth creation opens for them. It’s priceless to help our clients have clarity, conviction, and joy through this process.

I received my B.A. in international studies and my international M.B.A. in finance from the University of Denver, where I was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Boettcher Scholar. I played Division I golf during my tenure at DU, served as team captain, and was recognized an Academic All American by the NCAA.

I currently serve on the board of the Eating Disorder Foundation and the Development Board for National Jewish Health.  I’m a member of the Family Office Exchange, the Purposeful Planning Institute, Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council, Women’s Estate Planning Council, and the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable. I have also served in leadership roles on the boards of the Colorado Philanthropic Advisor Network, Centennial Estate Planning Council, Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable, and the University of Denver Young Alumni Endowed Scholarship committee.

I’m a Colorado native and currently reside in east Denver. Outside of work, I spend time with my husband, Dan, chasing around our two biggest accomplishments, our daughter, Meredith, and our son, Luke.
