Experience

I provide financial due diligence for a variety of constituents, including private equity funds, portfolio companies, strategic buyers, and lending institutions. This involves helping clients analyze a company’s quality of historical earnings, assets and liabilities to be acquired, and networking capital requirements to identify potential opportunities and risks in a transaction.

While our private equity clients acquire businesses in all industries, I focus on companies in the food and beverage, manufacturing, distribution, and service spaces, among others. I was initially attracted to this career because of the ability to help people solve problems. Our work is very dynamic, and I see and experience different challenges every day.

My clients appreciate that I’m a reliable advisor who is truly invested in helping them achieve their goals. I believe in a relationship-based approach to serving clients, and I believe that shows in how I interact with them. My co-workers appreciate my outgoing personality and desire to get to know the whole person, not just the parts we see while working on projects together.

I belong to the MICPA. I earned a B.A. in finance from Michigan State University and M.S. in accounting from Wayne State University.

When I’m not at work, I like traveling with my wife and daughters, playing golf, and coaching children’s sports.
