Don’t miss the Medicare Part D notice deadline: Key steps for employers

Each year, Medicare Part D requires group health plan sponsors to disclose to individuals who are eligible for Medicare Part D and to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) whether the health plan’s prescription drug coverage is creditable. The annual disclosure notice must be sent before Oct. 15, 2025. Failure to provide timely notice may result in higher premiums for affected employees.
