Plante Moran announces three leadership changes

Plante Moran appoints new leaders for its Cleveland, Fort Collins and Traverse City offices.

Southfield, Mich., Jan. 5, 2026 — Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest audit, tax, consulting and wealth management firms, has announced new firm leadership positions, effective January 1.

Drew Mattox has taken on the role of Fort Collins office managing partner where he will dedicate his efforts toward strengthening Fort Collins staff development and business growth initiatives. He’ll also continue as the leader of the firm’s retail dealership practice. Drew succeeds Chris Otto, who’s preparing for retirement.

Scott Phillips has assumed the role of managing partner of the Cleveland office, succeeding Daniel Hursh, who’s preparing for retirement. In Scott’s new role, he’ll focus on developing and growing the firm’s Cleveland staff as well as supporting the office’s practice development efforts. He’ll also continue to serve as a partner in our Ohio financial institutions practice.

Chris Walski has taken on leadership of the firm’s Traverse City office, succeeding B.J. Wolff, who’s preparing for retirement. In his new role as office managing partner, Chris will support the office’s business development efforts and focus on growing and developing the Traverse City office’s staff. Chris will also continue to serve as the leader of the firm’s acute healthcare reimbursement services group and as the market segment leader of the acute healthcare consulting practice.
