Dan Lee
PrincipalExperience
As a principal in the firm’s strategy practice, I aid organizations as they define their long-term vision and develop aligned practical strategies that enhance profitability and sustainability. My experience spans a variety of strategic initiatives, including corporate strategy development, strategic growth planning, addressable market research, voice of customer feedback, competitive market positioning, organic growth strategies, M&A targeting and execution, commercial due diligence, and detailed business case development. I’ve advised clients across multiple industries, including real estate and construction, automotive, medical devices, renewable energy, manufacturing, professional services, food and beverage, and more.
With over a decade of experience, one of my most significant achievements has been guiding organizations toward a clear strategic vision and executing meaningful change that drives long-term success. I’m frequently invited to speak at industry conferences and leadership events on subjects that shape the future of mobility and manufacturing. I’ve presented for the Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA) Annual Outlook on the state of autonomous vehicles, the KC SmartPort Annual Industry Briefing on automotive industry trends, NAATBatt International on funding strategies for the battery value chain, and Plastics in Motion on the impact of disruptive changes in the automotive industry on the plastics market. These engagements allow me to share insights, foster dialogue, and help organizations prepare for transformative shifts in their industries.
I’m an active member of SAA, Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), NAATBatt International, and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). I earned my B.A. and M.S. in accounting from Michigan State University, which provided a solid foundation for the financial and analytical rigor that underpins the strategic work I do today.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, cooking homemade meals, playing golf, and cheering for the Michigan State Spartans and Detroit Tigers.
