As the insurance industry practice leader, I provide assurance and consulting services to property & casualty and health insurance companies, including public companies, and work diligently to help our clients achieve financial success through innovative ideas, active planning, and deep industry knowledge. I also provide due diligence consulting services to insurance companies looking to expand through acquisition or merger opportunities. My experience includes SEC, statutory reporting, NAIC Model Audit Rule compliance, GAAP reporting, and financial due diligence, plus I make sure our clients meet various regulatory reporting and governance requirements.

I’m actively engaged in a variety of industry associations, and I’m the former president of the Michigan chapter of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA). I’m often asked to speak to clients, their boards, and at industry conferences about topics of current interest to leaders, including getting the most out of your internal audit function. I belong to the AICPA, the MICPA, the Michigan Public Risk Management Association, and the Michigan Association of Public School Academies. I’m also a past board member with Ele's Place, a center for grieving children, teens, and their families.
I have a B.S. in business administration with a major in accounting from Central Michigan University (magna cum laude).
Right now, I love to watch my kids participate in their various sports and hang out by our pool when the weather permits. Otherwise, I stay active riding my Peloton, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.
