I love numbers, which is why I was attracted to accounting. Even more so, I like working at Plante Moran since we focus more on the people side of the business. The personal interactions — with clients and colleagues — are what keep me going every day. A great perk of being a partner is the opportunity to mentor so many skilled professionals on the team.
I’m regularly asked to speak at the AICPA National Employee Benefit Plan Conference on a variety of topics, including ethics and alternative investments. I belong to the AIPCA and the Michigan Association of CPAs. I received my B.B.A. in accounting from Central Michigan University.
I believe in work-life balance. Outside of the office, I enjoy playing tennis, spending time with my wife, and reading with my kids.
