Mark is a Plante Moran partner and leads the firm’s franchise practice and is part of the firm’s private equity leadership team.  His clients appreciate his entrepreneurial spirit and desire to help them grow to best in class through financial best practices, efficient organizational structure, and market trends comparison. He has devoted his career primarily to helping consumer goods and services, franchise and multi-unit organizations as well as large, national, private equity-owned portfolio companies with international capabilities.

Mark has 24 years of consumer and business-to-business industry experience. Areas of focus include strategic planning, international operations, private equity transactions, corporate structuring, franchise industry acquisitions, and due diligence.

In 2016 Mark earned his Certified Franchise Executive, or CFE, designation, signifying that he’s met the highest standard of quality training and education available to help clients optimize their franchises. He has a B.A. from Western Michigan University.
