Denise leads the firm's practice in charge of serving the developmentally disabled population, including ICF/IID facilities and community-based settings. She is a reimbursement specialist focusing on guiding healthcare organizations through the ongoing changes in reimbursement and industry issues. She works with the full spectrum of senior care providers from stand-alone providers to CCRCs and hospital-based SNFs.

Denise is known for balancing both the innovation needed for the future as well as the practical aspects for providers to be successful in the long term.  Most recently, she’s been working with senior care providers in evaluating their key metrics and potential for ACO partnerships. In addition, Denise has been assisting ICF providers in developing and implementing their downsizing plans.

Denise is often asked to speak to clients, their boards, and at industry conferences such as the OHCA and OPRA regarding current reimbursement topics and their impacts as well as positioning organizations for a strong future given the changes inherent in healthcare reform. She has a bachelor of science in accounting from The University of Akron.
