In my sophomore year of college at Michigan State University, I tried out for the basketball team — I didn’t make it. Evidently, Tom Izzo thought I needed a little more work.

As a leader with our restructuring and transformation team, I work with manufacturing and distribution companies to solve their most challenging and difficult problems, enhance their profit margins, and get them back on the course to success. I also specialize in strategy and operations, supply chain, and process improvement.

Within the M&D industry, I focus on clients in the consumer goods, food and beverage, and medical device sectors. They range in size from family-owned and operated middle-market companies to billion-dollar publicly traded companies.

I was attracted to this career because of the ability to work with a variety of clients and to help those clients solve their most complex issues. This is what I get to do every day — and it’s incredibly satisfying. My clients appreciate that my first goal is to understand their unique business challenges. Then I can bring all my experience to developing solutions tailored to their specific needs.

I’m the president of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. I’m also the president of the TMA NextGen. I received my B.A. in finance from Michigan State University, and I’ve been a proud Spartan ever since.

My wife, Lindsay, and I have three kids, so we stay busy with their school events and sports. We’re also season ticket holders for MSU football. Go Green!
