Plastics processors need solid financial and operational benchmarking data to balance risk and opportunity. Take the NAPIS survey to confidently assess the health of your business with comparative data from the competition.

Manufacturing of plastic bottlesPlante Moran has conducted the NAPIS survey of plastics processors for more than 27 years.

NAPIS typically represents 150+ facilities, $4-5 billion in revenue, and seven to nine million square feet of manufacturing space. This comprehensive benchmarking study provides plastics processors with a data-driven understanding of where you stand — and where you need to go to maintain a competitive advantage in the industry.

Survey participants submit responses via an online form and receive benchmarking insights on strategic, financial, operational, sales and marketing, and human resource metrics. Responses to the survey are based on data, not opinions and are kept completely confidential and secure. Read our confidentiality pledge.

All survey participants receive a free, customized 70-page benchmarking report that compares your company to industry quartile data. The report is "board presentation" ready and is divided into a few key sections to provide industry and benchmarking analytics and a report card that grades the participating company against its peers.

New this year, NAPIS includes a new focus on press rates, comparing your company’s press rates to "highly competitive" (should cost) rates. This additional analysis helps you assess competitiveness and identify cost components that drive your company’s variance to should cost.

Participating in the NAPIS survey allows you to be honest about your competitive differentiation. Take the time to identify where you stand in the marketplace and complete the survey today. Read our confidentiality pledge and start your survey.

Plastics processors can complete the survey at any time. You may use any 12-month period for your data import (does not need to be your fiscal year end).
