As a leader within Plante Moran’s assurance group, I focus on serving the needs of middle-market manufacturing and distribution companies with a specialization in the food and beverage sector. My passion is building long-lasting relationships with my clients and their stakeholders, assisting them with addressing their pressing business challenges, and identifying unique opportunities for cost savings, operational improvements, and enhanced financial reporting. Additionally, I serve clients in the hospitality, technology, and leasing industries.
Clients appreciate that I challenge them with new ideas that push them to grow. I’m not shy about offering a new perspective — even when it goes against the status quo. Their business success is as important to me as it is to them.
I truly enjoy the variety of clients and industries that I’ve worked on in my nearly 15 years with the firm. I’ve been given the tools to become a true valued advisor to my clients, network, and prospects. However, my greatest accomplishments are seeing young staff I worked with many years ago thriving — many of whom are senior managers and on the partner track.
I belong to the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. I have a B.S. in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also try to find time for fitness, golf, and fishing — all things I like even if I’m not that skilled in them.
